Rookie Day

2025 Greenwood Trails Rookie Day

Saturday July 19th 10am-3pm

Rookie Day is a one-day program for prospective campers to get a taste of life at Greenwood Trails while camp is in session.

Parents and campers start the day together, meeting the camp directors and some of the counselors. Then parents go on a tour of the camp and children become campers for the day, participating in all the fun activities. After the tour, parents are welcome to visit the local attractions in and around the Berkshires (we’re happy to give recommendations!), and they return later in the afternoon to pick up who we hope will be future Greenwood Trails campers!

There is no charge for Rookie Day.

I like how everything is open. We can pick our events when we want them. The cabin mates are all very nice. Even if there is an argument with your cabin mates, you get over it together and are friends again. It feels nicer knowing that I’m with other people, not just my family and (read more…)
